The practice of Tai Chi Chuan requires the individual’s undivided attention while performing the postures in the “set” which heal and revitalize the mind, body and spirit. As well as the benefits of the physical facet of Tai Chi Chuan practice, the studio promotes a kind, courteous, and helpful environment to students creating a positive environment, which in turn releases stress and worries in the practitioner.

The curriculum is structured in such a way that students may join the group at any time. The curriculum consists of opening exercises to promote KI flow and basic techniques followed by Five Element Tai Chi then Yang Style Tai Chi Set. Another avenue the group practices is push-hands as an alternative means of obtaining KI development and martial skill.

In addition to Tai Chi Chuan practice, the Yushinkai studio also practices Qi Gong, a form of Chinese Yoga, promoting internal health and well being by tapping into the mysterious life force known as “Ki” or “Chi”, through specialized sets of exercises.
